Visit Long Beach Symphony for an Unforgettable Musical Experience

June 17, 2019
Category: Things to do in Long Beach

If you are visiting Long Beach and looking for a little culture, then look no further than the Long Beach Symphony.

Featuring some of Southern California’s finest symphonic musicians, Long Beach Symphony celebrates its 85th season in 2019.

The Symphony presents more than 100 concerts, education, and community programs each year that reach more than 100,000 residents-from toddlers to senior citizens.

The Symphony also provides over 150 free music education programs in partnership with LBUSD schools, local libraries, and community festivals.

One of the main featured events is the Classical Series of six full symphonic concerts held at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center Terrace Theater. They also feature five-concert POPS! Series held at the Long Beach Arena’s Pacific Ballroom.

For those attending the POPS! Concert events, you may bring your own picnic dinner and beverages of choice. You may also have your table catered by approved caterers.

If you would like to sample some of the previous events, the Symphony website provides links to enable listening to previously recorded versions of the selections. If you want to experience something new, it will give you a feeling for what you will hear live in the auditorium.

For more information about the upcoming concert calendar and schedule for Long Beach Symphony, visit their website.

The Long Beach Symphony Box Office is also open from 9am-noon the day of a concert. Tickets are also available through Ticketmaster and at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center Box Office, (562) 436-3661.
